What to Expect

• Design and Create Your Own Prints: In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of lino printing, a technique that involves carving a design into a linoleum block, inking it, and then pressing it onto paper or fabric to create a print. You’ll start by sketching out your design, then carefully carve it into the lino block using special tools, and finally, use ink and a press to transfer your design onto a medium of your choice.

• Guided by Experts: Our experienced printmaking instructor, Martyna Karch, will guide you through the entire process, offering tips on design, carving techniques, and printing methods. Whether you’re creating a simple graphic or an intricate pattern, you’ll receive personalised guidance to help you bring your vision to life.

• Creative and Relaxing Atmosphere: Enjoy the art of printmaking in a cozy and creative environment. As you work on your lino prints, you can sip on a drink, chat with other participants, and let the soothing process of carving and printing inspire you.

• Finished lino stamp
• All prints you make on the night
